anger and (billboard) liberation in troubled times

I love New York. The shear amount and cleverness of graffiti and billboard liberation always blows my mind.

Check it out: everyday on my commute to work I walk through the 6th Ave underground passage from the L to the 1. Late at night on Wednesday, I was returning to New York from a work trip to Washington, DC, I saw this there



(out of the white house but not off the hook, arrest cheney and bush for crimes of high treason)

For months I've been seeing the original movie poster:


It seems there's also a lot of anger (or is it cynicism) over the financial crisis in Williamsburg:
